The other essential agile tools

If you google for agile tools, you are likely to encounter a few dozen software providers. However, agile methodologies, best known for its pragmatism and emphasis in teamwork, can be best represented with other set of little tools we use everyday to brainstorm and visualise processes.
We have asked a group of agile professionals what essential tools they need present throughout an agile implementation. This is what they agreed the most.

Post it notes. Used for brainstorming and production streaming/tasking (indispensable in KanBan). Different sizes can be used to represent relevance. Pastel colours will be favoured when we plan to write on the post its and neon colours will be chosen to denote urgency with big, bold letters.
Post it notes arrow-shaped. This shape is used to denote important or urgent tasks.
Star-shaped post it. It can be used for names in task assignation or titles.
A3 paper. Good for mindmapping or brainstorming. Also for retrospectives
Red tape. Used to build lanes where to put tasks and move them around as they go past different stages ( eg. to do, waiting, done ) or to separate stories on a story board. Red is good as it stands out from post it notes.
Markers. To write on the post it notes and A3 paper.

Is there any other “tool” you can’t work without? Why don’t you leave a comment.
